Guidelines
for New Construction

The following guideline is offered to help
you through the process of obtaining approval for new construction on your lake
property.
Guidelines for New Construction or
Renovation on Lake Nasworthy Lots
To help property owners and leaseholders
obtain Architectural Control Committee
Approval and City building permits we have
put together some valuable
information.
The Architectural Control Committee must
review and approve in writing all of
the following projects on the property:
Construction of any building, fence, wall, satellite disk, exterior
antenna
(including but not limited to, ham radio antennas), or other structure.
Any exterior addition, change, or alteration to any building, fence,
wall or
other structure.
Any landscaping involving plant or materials over four feet (4’) in
height or
grading of any lot or lots.
The following must be completed to obtain
approval for new construction on your
lake property.
Submit
an application to the Lake Nasworthy Homeowners Association, Inc.
Architectural Control Committee.
Complete
a permit application at the city inspection and permits office
located in room B-5 on the basement floor of
City Hall.
The following information is needed for
these applications:
The legal description which includes:
Lot
number;
Group
number;
Street
address.
A site plan which should show:
The
size of the lot;
The
size of any existing building(s) on the lot;
Where
the existing building(s) are located on the lot, with measurements from the
property lines not the curb;
The size and location of the proposed
construction.
General construction plans which show:
An elevation view of the proposed building.
A plan view of the proposed building.
